Trescon is proud to have completed the construction of the Hungry Jacks restaurant in Mulgrave, showcasing our expertise in delivering high-quality, functional spaces tailored to the fast-food industry.
Partnering with KAS Architects, this project reflects a modern design approach with an emphasis on open, airy spaces, enhanced by large windows that allow natural light to flood the dining area. The interior features contemporary furnishings paired with durable, slip-resistant tiles from METZ and SKHEME, ensuring both style and safety. Energy-efficient LED lighting was installed throughout, creating a bright and inviting environment while supporting sustainability goals.
The construction process began with the levelling and curing of a new concrete slab for the car park and drive-thru. Advanced masonry techniques and high-quality steel framing were used for structural integrity, while our team coordinated the installation of comprehensive hydraulic systems for efficient water usage and waste management.
A robust stormwater management system was also implemented, featuring strategically placed pits and pipes to handle heavy rainfall and prevent flooding, in line with local regulations and environmental standards.
One of the project’s key challenges was coordinating the installation of electrical and plumbing systems, which required detailed planning and collaboration with utility providers to avoid disruption. Trescon’s meticulous approach ensured a seamless process from start to finish, adhering to a tight construction timeline, ensuring we met the firm opening day.
